About US

The 852 Fabric story began in Oct 2018 with a small preorder and a handful of Facebook group members. I had been sewing for a few years, but struggled to find commercially available fabric designs that I liked. From there, I was inspired by my home, Hong Kong, which is where the essence of my design influence is drawn. I like to think that I inherited my passion for textiles and the craft of sewing from my maternal grandfather, who ran a sewing and alterations business in Hong Kong during the 1960s. I am proud of this history and what we are creating today at 852 Fabric.

We are a family owned and locally run business based in Tai Po, Hong Kong. We currently only operate online. Our designs are created by myself and from time to time, in collaboration with artists we support and admire. As such, our designs are unique and not widely available anywhere else.

Whether you're a seasoned sewist or have only just started your sewing journey, we welcome you. We hope you fall in love with our designs.
